MIAAA Recognized for Membership Efforts

The MIAAA was recently recognized by the NIAAA leadership for its membership numbers this year and the past five years. Thanks to many people including Keith Chapman, Marty O'Hern, Josh Scott, and Jeff Taggart for spearheading this effort.
Scott earns Bruce D. Whitehead DSA Award

Josh Scott, Springfield District Athletic Director was recognized at the 2022 National AD Conference in Nashville as one of the 11 national winners of the Bruce D. Whitehead Distinguished Service Award. Josh received his award at the banquet on Tuesday, December 13th.

Don Rothermich Award Winners

Don Rothermich Professional Development Award

The Don Rothermich Professional Development Award is presented to an MIAAA member who has demonstrated a commitment and passion to professional development for the MIAAA membership. This award is named after Don Rothermich, who was instrumental in providing leadership training and professional development opportunities for MIAAA members over his entire career in the MIAAA as an LTC State Coordinator. Don was also a Jim Teff Award winner given yearly to a member of the national professional development staff.
